BREAKING NEWS!

1. Annie just bought her 1st smartphone (I, of course, still use a flip). 

2. After being home for 4 1/2 months, Annie is nearly finished posting from our last trip. She tells me just a few more "highlights"!

And now - our 1st post of 2017.

    This summer we had planned to head west from Denver to visit many of the national parks in Utah and Arizona that we hadn't been to in years - Arches, Bryce, Zion, Canyonlands and the Grand Canyon. Since we sold our trailer last year (34 years of 5 - 8 weeks every summer of tent and trailer camping was enough) we had made reservations at small motels along the way and then across the southern states towards our favorite state park in Florida. 
    Alas, heading west was not to be. Our daughter Natalie just recently let us know that she was going to "walk" for her graduation at Michigan State (Ph.D. in Psychology) so new plans are being finalized as I type. First to East Lansing for graduation, then on to Ottawa, Canada to visit Annie's family. Next we'll head down to Albany, New York where my grandparents lived and on to NYC to visit our other daughter and her fiance. From there we head south to the Florida Panhandle via Dover, the Outer Banks and Charlston.
